Despite comebacks in the seventh and eighth innings, the State College Spikes couldn’t overcome a final surge by the Jamestown Jammers.

The Jammers broke open a tie with four runs in the eighth en route to a 10-6 win against the Spikes Tuesday night at Russell Diethrick Park in Jamestown, N.Y.

Led by a three-run home run by designated hitter Marcell Ozuna, his second of the night and league leading 12th of the year, the Jammers tagged Spikes (22-23) reliever Ryan Beckman for four runs in the bottom of the eighth.
