For the Collegian
After a 75 minute rain delay, the State college Spikes finally took the field in a grueling game that would last well over three hours Friday night at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
Despite rallying within one run in the fourth inning, the Spikes eventually fell 10-7.
Spikes pitcher Zac Fuesser had a rocky first inning as he allowed three hits, including a homerun, one walk and allowed four earned runs. Fuesser later settled down striking out four over his four innings of work.
