JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Pitcher Zack Von Rosenberg, the Pittsburgh Pirates’ $1.2 mil-lion- signee, continued to struggle and Trent Stevenson didn’t do much better in his debut with State College as the Spikes fell 8-3 to Jamestown in New York- Penn League baseball play Monday.

Von Rosenberg (0-3) gave up five runs on five hits in four innings as the Spikes (5-6) saw their season high three-game winning streak end. Von Rosenberg walked two and struck out one as his ERA ballooned to 7.50.

Stevenson, added to the roster on Saturday, gave up five hits and three runs in his first two innings of work
