Rodriguez goes 2-for-4 with 2 RBI

STATE COLLEGE – For the first time in 2010, the State College Spikes took the first lead in the game, and never yielded as they downed the Jamestown Jammers, 6-2, at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on Friday night.

Chase Lyles knocked in Justin Bencsko with an RBI double to get the ball rolling in the first inning for the Spikes (3-5). State College then took advantage of three straight walks to start the fourth inning, plating three more runs thanks to a two-run single by Gerlis Rodriguez and an RBI base hit by Walker Gourley.
