STATE COLLEGE SPIKES (A, Short Season)

State College beat Jamestown 6-2.  Brooks Pounders made the start, allowing two runs on three hits in five innings, with no walks and two strikeouts.  Ryan Beckman pitched the final four innings, allowing no runs with just one walk and one hit allowed.

Gerlis Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a run, a stolen base, and two RBIs.  Justin Bencsko went 2-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base.  Walker Gourley went 1-for-4 with two RBIs.  Chase Lyles went 1-for-4 with a double, a run, and an RBI.  Kelson Brown went 1-for-3 with a run and an RBI.  Gift Ngoepe walked in all three plate appearances, and scored a run.
