Irvine goes to sole possession of third place in RBI

BATAVIA, NY – Aaron Baker came up just a home run shy of the cycle as the State College Spikes split a doubleheader against the Batavia Muckdogs on Monday at Dwyer Stadium, taking game one, 5-2, and dropping game two, 4-1.

Baker collected a triple, single and double, in that order, in his first three at-bats of game one. In his fourth plate appearance, however, the Oklahoma alumnus was intentionally walked. Baker ended the two games by going 3-for-6.
