FISHKILL, N.Y. — The State College Spikes put three runs across during the first six innings Friday.

Jason Erickson made those runs look even bigger.

The slender right-hander threw six shutout innings and State College held on for a 3-2 win over the Hudson Valley Renegades before 5,162 fans in Dutchess Stadium.
