-SPIKES UNDERGO A FEW CHANGES: State College saw one player come back to the fold and said goodbye to another in the past two days. Right-handed pitcher Owen Brolsma comes back to State College for a second stint with the Spikes after going 0-2 with 2 saves and a 2.92 ERA for Single-A West Virginia. Infielder Matt Payne was released today by the Pirates organization after hitting .129 in 10 games for the Spikes in 2009.
