UNIVERSITY PARK — A player of Ryan Westmoreland’s caliber makes it easy to forget about debated calls.
Westmoreland, a 19-year-old who could be developing into a mega-prospect for the Boston Red Sox, hit a two-run triple in the ninth inning as the Lowell Spinners recovered from a reversed home-run call to defeat the State College Spikes 8-5 on Monday at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
