State College hitless through six innings in fourth straight loss

NEW YORK — Staten Island Yankees righthander Adam Warren held State College hitless for six innings as the Spikes suffered their fourth straight loss with a 4-2 setback Friday night at Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St. George.

Warren (2-1), a 2009 fourth-round draft pick out of North Carolina, struck out five and walked one while lowering his ERA to 1.59. Three Yankee relievers combined to allow the two runs and three State College hits.
