TROY, NY – The State College Spikes stretched their scoreless innings streak to a season-high 12 innings, but the Tri-City ValleyCats eventually broke through to earn a 4-0 win Tuesday night at Joseph Bruno Stadium.
State College (13-12) was held to four hits in the game, with no hits after the third inning. The Spikes were able to load the bases twice in the game, however, without scoring on either occasion.
