UNIVERSITY PARK — Finally, after 24 straight games and a four-day minicamp, the schedule gives the State College Spikes a needed break.
Kyle Morgan and Kyle McPherson ensured there’s no loss to ponder during today’s day of rest.
Morgan homered twice, including a grand slam, and McPherson pitched seven innings as the Spikes ended a grueling stretch with a 7-2 victory over Jamestown on Sunday at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
