The sequence convincingly halted the State College Spikes’ four-game winning streak.
Nelson Pereira surrendered a sixth-inning grand slam to Jeremy Barnes as the Spikes temporary joyride ended with an 8-1 loss at Williamsport on Monday at Bowman Field.
