AUBURN — The State College Spikes couldn’t have asked for a better start Friday night and they made the most of it.
State College opened the game with five consecutive hits and scored four runs in the first inning as the Spikes knocked off Auburn 10-4 in a New-York Penn League baseball game.
The 10 runs and 11 hits were season highs for the Spikes (3-5).
