Tracy was a member of the 2007 Spikes team… but that was as a pitcher. This season he’ll return as the team’s pitching coach replacing Wilson Alverez who held the spot last year.
Evidently, Tracy has elected to give up playing to follow in the career footsteps of his father Jim, who managed the Los Angeles Dodgers from 2001-05, and the Pirates from 2006-07.
